25 April 2014; President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this afternoon met with the Vice President of International Container Terminal Services Inc, Mr. Jose Manuel Mantecon De Jesus. The International Container Terminal Services Inc is a company engaged in the business of acquiring, developing, managing and operating container ports and terminals worldwide.
Discussions at the meeting mainly focused on the issue of Thilafushi Port development project. The President also shared with Mr. Jose Manuel Mantecon De Jesus, the Government's plan for developing a transshipment port in the north of the country, as part of the iHavan project.
