23 December 2012, Male';President Dr Mohamed Waheed has appointed Mr. Mohamed Rasheed as the Ambassador of Maldives to China.
The presentation of letter of appointment to Mr. Rasheed was held this morning at the President's Office.
Speaking at the function, President Waheed congratulated the new Ambassador. The President also expressed confidence that Ambassador Rasheed would protect and promote the interest of the people of Maldives and work to enhance cooperation between the Maldives and China.
