President Dr Mohamed Waheed and First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain have this afternoon visited the Maldivian High Commission in Colombo.
During his visit to the High Commission, the President and First Lady personally met with and greeted all the staff members working at the Maldivian High Commission. The President and First Lady then took a tour of the High Commission building, and observed the administration of the office.
The President also signed the visitor's book during his visit. In his message, the President had expressed his pleasure of being able to visit the High Commission and meet with the staff. He had also expressed his gratitude to all the staff of the High Commission for their invaluable services extended to the Maldives and its people.
