Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Egypt presents Credentials to the President of Egypt

The Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Her Excellency Aminath Shabeena, presented her Letter of Credence to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, at a ceremony held at the official President Palace ‘Qasr Al Ittihadiyyah’ in Cairo, this afternoon.

During the ceremony, President Al-Sisi congratulated Ambassador Shabeena on the commencement of her term, as the first Non-Resident Ambassador from Maldives to Egypt. Ambassador Shabeena thanked President Sisi and conveyed greetings and good wishes from His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives to the President and People of Egypt.

Ambassador Shabeena expressed profound appreciation and assured the commitment to work closely with Egypt to further strengthen and expand the long-standing relations between the two countries.
