Newly appointed Non-Resident High Commissioner of Nigeria to Maldives calls on Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
The newly appointed Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abioye Mohammed Bello has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, State Minister Khaleel welcomed the High Commissioner and congratulated him on presenting his credentials.
State Minister Khaleel and High Commissioner Bello exchanged ideas to further reinforce the bilateral ties and cooperation between Maldives and Nigeria in areas of mutual interest, especially in the fields of trade and investments.
Ambassador Bello assured of his commitment to work with the Government of Maldives in strengthening the relations between the two countries.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Mohamed Faisal, Additional Secretary and Moomina Ibrahim, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
