Newly appointed Non-Resident High Commissioner of Ghana to Maldives calls on Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
The newly appointed Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Kuwaku Asomah-Cheremeh has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, today.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister Khaleel welcomed High Commissioner and congratulated him on presenting credentials as the Non-Resident High Commissioner from Ghana to Maldives. State Minister also highlighted the long-standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Ghana, and exchanged ideas to further strengthen the bilateral ties and cooperation between Maldives and Ghana in areas of mutual interest.
High Commissioner Asomah-Cheremeh assured of his commitment to work with the Government of Maldives in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Fathimath Najwa, Joint Secretary and Aminath Abdulla, Senior Desk officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
