Newly appointed Non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Maldives calls on Minister Zameer

The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Oman to the Maldives, Ahmed Ali Said Al Rashdi paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer today, following the Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador to the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and noted with appreciation that Oman has been a reliable friend of the Maldives and thanked the Government of Oman for the generous support and assistance provided to the Maldives over the years.

Ambassador Ahmed Ali Said Rashdi thanked the Minister and offered assurances of his commitment to further strengthening the existing bilateral relations between the two countries during his tenure. 

Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Secretary Bilateral, Dr. Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary, Mariyam Reesha and Assistant Director, Lamha Saleem.
