Newly appointed Ambassador of Argentina to the Republic of Maldives, Daniel Chuburu, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid, today.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, Foreign Minister Shahid congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that the bilateral relations between Argentina and Maldives would be further strengthened during the Ambassador’s tenure. Minister Shahid and Ambassador Chuburu also discussed on expanding the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Shiuneen Rasheed, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
