The newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to the Republic of Maldives, Dionyssios Kyvetos, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid, today.
At a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, Minister Shahid welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated on presenting his Credentials to the President of the Maldives.
Ambassador Kyvetos assured the Minister of his willingness and commitment to work with the Government of Maldives to further strengthen cooperation between both the countries.
The Foreign Minister was accompanied by Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Shiuneen Rasheed, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
