Newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Maldives calls on the Foreign Secretary
Ambassador of Cuba to the Maldives, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido called on the Foreign Secretary Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Secretary Ghafoor congratulated Ambassador Garrido on his appointment and discussed avenues for strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries in a wide range of areas such as cooperation in the fields of health and tourism.
Foreign Secretary Ghafoor was accompanied by Shiuneen Rasheed, Joint Secretary, and Saifulla Waleed, Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
