25 September 2013, Male';New Ambassador of Jordan accredited to the Maldives, Nawaf Khalifa Saraireh presented his letter of credence to President Dr Mohamed Waheed this morning.
At the ceremony held at the President's Office to present the credentials, President Waheed congratulated Ambassador Saraireh.
Meeting the new Ambassador afterwards, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations that exist between the two countries and ways to further strengthen ties. The President and the Ambassador further explored foreign investment opportunities in the Maldives' tourism industry.
