25 May 2015, Male': The High Commissioner of the United Kingdom accredited to the Maldives H E Mr James Darius called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Ms Dunya Maumoon today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister highlighted the close bilateral relations between Maldives and the United Kingdom and discussed the golden jubilee of establishment of bilateral ties between the Maldives and the United Kingdom.
Minister Dunya and the High Commissioner also discussed the excellent relations between the two countries and highlighted on ways of further enhancing the close bilateral cooperation.
Earlier in the day High Commissioner Darius presented his Credentials to His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
