14th October 2012, Male'; The New Ambassador of Belgium accredited to the Maldives, Pierre Vaesen has presented his letter of credence to President Dr Mohamed Waheed, at a ceremony held at the President's Office this morning.
Following the presentation of the credentials, the President and the Ambassador discussed existing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Belgium, and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
