21 April 2014, Male'; His Excellency Mr. Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo, Ambassador of the Republic of Philippines to Maldives, presented his letter of credence to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, this afternoon.
At the ceremony held at the President's Office to present credentials, President Yameen congratulated Ambassador Bandillo on the commencement of his term.
Meeting the new Ambassador after the ceremonial presentation of credentials, President Yameen expressed hope that the cordial relations that exist between the two countries would further enhance during the tenure of Ambassador Bandillo.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ms Dunya Maumoon, and Minister at the President's Office, Hon. Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
