17 September 2012, Male';The new Ambassador of Australia to the Maldives, H. E. Ms. Robyn Mudie has met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H. E. Ms. Dunya Maumoon. At the meeting held today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and discussed ways to further strengthen the existing relations between the two countries. State Minister Dunya also noted with appreciation the assistance from Australia to the socio economic development of the Maldives especially to human resource development and climate change.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mudie expressed her commitment to working with the Maldives to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
H. E. Ms. Robyn Mudie presented her letter of credence to H. E. President Dr. Mohamed Waheed, today.
