The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives His Excellency Mr. Moosa Zameer sends warm greetings and good wishes to His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore on the joyous occasion of the 59th National Day of Singapore.
Minister’s message reads as follows;
“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Singapore, on the joyous occasion of the 59th National Day of the Republic of Singapore.
Over the past decades Maldives and Singapore have enjoyed enduring bilateral ties based on mutual respect and trust. Today as we approach the fiftieth year of our formal bilateral relations, it is my sincere hope to enhance our engagement, including exploring new avenues to enhance cooperation that will benefit both our countries.
Let me also take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for your Excellency’s good health and success, and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Singapore.
