The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, His Excellency Moosa Zameer has sent a message of felicitations to His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of the Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
"Let me extend warm felicitations and well wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the State of Kuwait, on the auspicious occasion of the Liberation Day of Kuwait.
The Maldives and Kuwait continue to enjoy close relations rooted in Islamic, cultural and historical links, and most importantly, in our shared Islamic values. I remain certain that the fraternal ties, friendship and cooperation between our two countries will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
May I also take this opportunity to convey my personal well wishes and prayers for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Kuwait.
