The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer sends message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Nauru, Lionel Rouwen Aingimea, M.P., on the occasion of the Independence Day of Nauru.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the People of the Republic of Maldives, and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and people of the Republic of Nauru on the occasion of the Independence Day.
As fellow Small Island Developing States (SIDS), I am confident that the Maldives and the Republic of Nauru will continue to work together on shared priorities such as addressing the adverse effects of climate change.
I also take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, and for further peace and prosperity for the people of the Republic of Nauru.
