Minister Zameer sends Congratulatory Message to the New Foreign Minister of Malaysia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Moosa Zameer has sent a congratulatory message to YB Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations on your appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
The Maldives greatly values the historical ties and close friendship, characterized by the common values we cherish, based on the mutual respect and goodwill between our two countries and the peoples. The bonds of friendship and close people to people contact has paved the way for greater collaboration in a number of areas including economic and social. Malaysia remains a favoured destination for a growing number of Maldivians for education and tourism.
I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency in further expanding the enduring ties of friendship between Maldives and Malaysia with constructive engagements in areas of mutual benefit for both our countries.
