The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer, sends a message of condolence to Stéphane Séjourné, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France
The Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives, I convey our profound sadness following the untimely demise of Ambassador Jean-François Pactet, the Ambassador of France to the Maldives.
Ambassador Pactet will be remembered as a dear friend of the Maldives, who tirelessly worked to strengthen the robust relations between the Maldives and France. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ambassador’s family and loved ones. I extend my sincere condolences to all members of the French Embassy in Colombo, and to the French diplomatic service.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration”.
