The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer sends message of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, Alberto Van Klaveren, following the severe wildfires in Chile.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the severe wildfires in Chile, leading to countless loss of lives, destroying livelihoods and infrastructure, and displacement of people.
The Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Government and the people of Chile, in particular to those directly affected by this tragedy.
I sincerely hope that the efforts of the rescue teams continue swiftly and successfully.”
