Minister sends message of felicitations to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Local Government of New Zealand, on the occasion of Waitangi Day
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to Nanaia Mahuta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Local Government of New Zealand, on the occasion of Waitangi Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of New Zealand on the occasion of Waitangi Day.
The Maldives and New Zealand have shared ties of friendship, grounded in mutual understanding and trust. It is my sincere hope that the close and friendly ties that exist between our two countries will continue to prosper in the days ahead.
Please also accept my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for further progress and welfare of the people of New Zealand.”
