Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of greetings to Heiko Maas, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the occasion of the German Unity Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, I would like to extend warm felicitations and sincere best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Germany, on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Reunification of Germany. Over the past years, Germany has been a close partner contributing immensely to the socio-economic advancement of the Maldives and our cooperation in the trade and investments sector has remained noteworthy. I firmly believe that the close cordial ties between our two nations will prosper in the years to come. Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for further progress of the people of Germany and the assurances of my highest considerations.”
