Minister Shahid sends Russia Day greetings to the Foreign Minister of Russia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message of felicitations to Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of Russia Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the People of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, it is my pleasure to convey sincere felicitations and warm greetings to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of the Russian Federation, on the momentous occasion of Russia Day.
Under your able leadership, and through our concerted efforts, the Maldives-Russia Partnership has gained significant momentum in the last few years. I strongly believe that this momentum will continue unabated and grow stronger in the future for the mutual benefit of our two nations.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for the continued peace and prosperity of Russia, and the assurances of my highest consideration.”
