Minister Shahid sends Republic Day greetings to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye on the occasion of the 99th Republic day of Türkiye.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend sincere felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Türkiye on the occasion of your 99th Republic Day.
Over the past four decades, the Maldives and Türkiye have continued to enjoy close bonds of trust and cooperation both bilaterally and in the multilateral arena. Our cooperation has grown steadily across many sectors including education, trade, tourism, youth and sports, health, counterterrorism and environment and climate change. I remain committed to increasing our engagement and further solidifyng our partnership for the mutual benefit of our two countries.
