Minister Shahid sends National Day greetings to Qatar
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on the occasion of the National Day of Qatar.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend sincere felicitations and well wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of the State of Qatar on the jubilant occasion of the National Day of Qatar.
I look forward to enhancing collaboration between the Maldives and Qatar in areas of mutual interest, and renew Maldives' commitment to work together with Qatar in important areas such as sustainable development, preventive diplomacy and conflict resolution.
Let me also take this opportunity to extend my best wishes to Your Excellency’s well-being, success, and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Qatar.
