Minister of Foreign Affairs has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia on the occasion of the 63rd National Day
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, His Excellency Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, on the occasion of the 63rd National Day of Malaysia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On the joyous occasion of the 63rd National Day of Malaysia, I wish to extend warm felicitations to the Government and the people of Malaysia.
As Malaysia celebrates this joyous occasion in these challenging times, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the Government and the leadership of Malaysia in responding to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am thankful for the hospitality accorded by the Government of Malaysia to the vast number of Maldivians residing in Malaysia.
I am confident that the strong and mutually beneficial ties that exist between our countries will continue to strengthen in the years to come. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency in enhancing, the existing friendly relations and cooperation.
I wish Your Excellency, good health and continued success in your endeavour to bring peace and prosperity to Malaysia.
