The Minister of Foreign Affairs has sent a message of condolence, following the devastating fire on a train travelling through central Pakistan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, following the devastating fire on a train travelling through central Pakistan.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of numerous lives and grievous injury caused to many following the devastating fire on a train travelling through central Pakistan. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and and the people of Pakistan in this tragic time.
On behalf of the Government, the people of the Maldives, and myself, allow me to extend sincere condolences and sympathies to the bereaved and affected families. I also take this opportunity to wish a swift recovery to those who were injured in this horrific incident.”
