The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Fiji, Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, on the Independence Day of Fiji.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and my own behalf, I extend warm greetings to Your Excellency and the people of Fiji as you celebrate your Independence Day.
I am confident that as fellow SIDS with similar priorities, the friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and Fiji will continue to grow in the years to come.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration as well as sincere wishes for your continued good health and everlasting prosperity of your people."
