Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to the Kingdom of Cambodia
His Excellency Abdulla Shahid, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, has sent a message of felicitations to His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Minister’s message reads as follows:
"It is my pleasure to extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, as you celebrate the joyous occasion of 70th Independence Day.
Maldives and Cambodia continue to enjoy close bonds of friendship founded on shared values, mutual understanding, and goodwill. I am confident that the close ties between our countries will be further elevated in the years ahead.
Let me extend my best wishes for your success, good health and well-being, and the continued progress and welfare of the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
