Minister sent a message of felicitations to Foreign Minister of The Gambia on the occasion of their Independence Day
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message of felicitations to Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of The Gambia, Mamadou Tangara, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of The Gambia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“As the Republic of The Gambia celebrates the 56th Anniversary of its Independence, on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, it is my pleasure to extend warm greetings and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the brotherly people of The Gambia.
The friendly relations that exist between our two countries are founded on shared values, mutual understanding and goodwill. As our countries prepare to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, I look forward to working together with renewed impetus to further enhance our cooperation and collaboration both bilaterally and in the multilateral fora.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
