Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to the Foreign Minister of Solomon Islands
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Solomon Islands Jeremiah Manele, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Solomon Islands.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, I am delighted to extend sincere greetings to Your Excellency, the Government and to the people of Solomon Islands on the occasion of your Independence Day.
I stand assured that as fellow Small Island Developing States (SIDS), our countries will continue to collaboratively tackle the most pressing regional and global challenges including the threat of climate change.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest regards and sincere wishes for your good health and happiness, as well as for continued progress and prosperity of the people of your country”.
