Minister Shahid sends Independence Day Greetings to the Foreign Minister of Saint Lucia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to Minister of External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Lucia, Hon. Alva Romanus Baptiste, on the occasion of their 43rd Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On the occasion of your Independence Day, I wish to convey warm felicitations and best wishes, on behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Saint Lucia.
I look forward to strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries, especially increasing our joint action in addressing the special vulnerabilities faced by SIDS in the multilateral system.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for further progress of the people of Saint Lucia and the assurances of my highest considerations.
