Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to the Foreign Minister of Pakistan
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am delighted to extend warm congratulations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Pakistan on the joyous occasion of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan.
Maldives and Pakistan continue to enjoy close and strong bilateral relations based on shared faith, mutual respect and understanding. I take this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to work together to further enhance our ties of friendship and cooperation, both bilaterally and in the multilateral fora.
