The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, on the occasion of Independence Day of Jamaica.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Jamaica, on the occasion of your Independence Day.
As two fellow Small Island Developing States (SIDS), I am confident that the Maldives and Jamaica are dedicated in our commitment to collaboratively address shared challenges, with a particular focus on addressing the impacts of climate change.
