Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to the Foreign Minister of Bahamas
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to Frederick Audley Mitchell, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, on the occasion of their 50th Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Bahamas, on the occasion of your 50th Independence Day.
I remain committed to enhancing the bilateral cooperation between Maldives and Bahamas, including expanding our collective action in addressing the unique challenges faced by SIDS.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
