Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Syria
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, His Excellency Fayssal Mekdad, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Syria.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend sincere greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the brotherly people of the Syrian Arab Republic on the occasion of the Independence Day of Syria.
I am confident that the close relations and the bonds of friendship between our two countries, will continue to prosper in the years ahead.
I also take this opportunity to convey my personal well wishes and prayers for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of Syria.
