Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Palestine
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, Riad Al-Malki, on the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“As today marks the 36th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine, let me take this opportunity to reiterate the unwavering support of the Maldives for the Palestinian cause,
It is my sincere hope that the close brotherly relations between our two countries will grow even stronger in the years ahead.
Today, as our brothers and sisters in Palestine are undergoing unspeakable sorrow and hardships as never seen before, I wish to reiterate the Government and the people of Maldives’ profound solidarity with Palestine in your relentless struggle to achieve self-determination.
Let me extend my best wishes for your success, good health and well-being, and long lasting peace for Palestine. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
