Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Palestine
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to Riad Al-Malki, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Palestine, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the State of Palestine.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It is my pleasure to extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of the State of Palestine, on the occasion of your Independence Day.
Let me take this opportunity to reaffirm the steadfast support of the Government and the people of Maldives for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially the right to self-determination and establishment of an independent state.
It is my sincere hope that the close fraternal relations which exist between our two countries will further strengthen in the years ahead.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
