Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Malawi
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi, Nancy Tembo, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Malawi.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“My sincere greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Malawi on the jubilant occasion of your Independence Day.
I am confident that the spirit of cooperation between Maldives and Malawi will continue to prosper and flourish, with the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries last year. Let me also convey my earnest hopes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Malawi.
