The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fuad Mohammed Hussein, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Iraq.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey heartfelt greetings to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Republic of Iraq on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day.
I am confident that the friendly relations that exist between our two countries will be further strengthened in the years ahead.
As you celebrate this occasion, let me extend my sincere good wishes for Your Excellency’s good health, and for continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Iraq.
