The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Carlos Pinto Pereira, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Guinea Bissau on the occasion of your Independence Day.
I am delighted to see the growing and robust links between the Maldives and Guinea Bissau, with the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, on this day, last year.
I look forward to strengthen the cordial relations between our two countries in the years ahead. Let me also convey my best wishes for the continued advancement and success for the people of Guinea Bissau.
