Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Foreign Minister of Dominica
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade & Energy of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr. Vince Henderson, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Dominica.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the People of the Republic of Maldives, and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey best wishes and sincere felicitation to Your Excellency, the Government, and People of the Commonwealth of Dominica on this joyous occasion of your Independence Day.
Despite our geographic distance, as small island developing states, the Maldives and Dominica have shared experiences of developmental challenges, and of fighting climate change and its impacts. I remain assured that the excellent cooperation between our countries will continue to grow from strength to strength in the years ahead.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your continued wellbeing, and peace and prosperity for the People of Dominica, and the assurances of my highest consideration.”
