Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Foreign Minister of Cambodia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitation to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency Mr. Prak Sokhonn, on the occasion of the 68th Independence Day of Cambodia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and good wishes to Your Excellency and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of the 68th Anniversary of Independence.
It is my hope that the existing relations between our two countries will further strengthen in the years ahead.
I would also like to offer my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, for the assumption of the Chairmanship of ASEAN for the year 2022.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for further progress of the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the assurances of my highest consideration.”
