Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Foreign Minister of Barbados
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to Kerrie Drurard Symmonds, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, on the occasion of their Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Barbados, on the occasion of your Independence Day.
I remain committed to strengthening the bilateral cooperation between Maldives and Barbados, including increasing our joint action in addressing the special vulnerabilities faced by SIDS.
