Minister Shahid sends Independence Day Greetings to Eritrea
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sent a message to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Eritrea, His Excellency Osman Saleh Mohammed, conveying felicitations on the occasion of the Independence Day of the State of Eritrea.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“My sincere greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Eritrea on the jubilant occasion of your Independence Day.
I am confident that the spirit of cooperation between Maldives and Eritrea will continue to prosper and flourish, with the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries earlier this year. Let me also convey my earnest hopes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Eritrea.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
