The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister for International Affairs and Cooperation of Botswana, Dr. Lemogang Kwape, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Botswana.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Botswana on the occasion of your Independence Day.
As you celebrate this occasion let me express my commitment to work together to further enhance the cooperation between the Maldives and Botswana. I especially look forward to the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. Let me take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for the continued advancement and success for the people of Botswana.
