Foreign Minister Shahid sent a message of greetings to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message of greetings to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, MP, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the independence of Bangladesh.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On the joyous occasion of the golden jubilee of the independence of Bangladesh, I wish to convey warm felicitations and sincere good wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Bangladesh. Let me also convey my sincere and heartfelt congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the birth centenary of the esteemed Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, celebrated this year.
Over the years our countries have enjoyed mutually beneficial relations based on shared values, understanding, and respect. It is my sincere hope that our two countries will continue working together to further strengthen and enhance the long-standing bilateral ties between our two countries.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and happiness, and the continued peace, prosperity and progress of the people of Bangladesh.”
