Minister Shahid sends condolences on the passing of the former President of Pakistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the passing of the former President of Pakistan.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“Your Excellency,
It is with deep sorrow that I heard the news of the passing away of His Excellency Parvez Musharraf, former President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. His Excellency Musharraf will be fondly remembered for the services he had rendered to his country.
At this time of national grief, the Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our sincere condolences to Your Excellency and the brotherly people of Pakistan.
I pray to Almighty Allah to accept His Excellency’s good deeds and grant the highest ranks of Jannah. ‘Surely to Allah do we belong and surely to Him is our return.’”
