Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of greetings to His Excellency Tandi Dorji, MBBS, MD, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bhutan, on the occasion of the National Day of Bhutan.
The Message reads as follows:
“On the occasion of National Day of the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Government and the people of Maldives join me in extending warm felicitations and heartfelt good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Bhutan.
I wish to express my gratitude to the Kingdom of Bhutan for sustaining the close relationship between our countries, based on understanding and goodwill. I remain confident that the friendly relations between Maldives and Bhutan will continue to grow and I look forward to working with you on strengthening our cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
On this happy occasion, may I also convey my personal best wishes to Your Excellency, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
